About Us

Heather is the co-owner of Lettuce Services with her husband, Jacob. Heather is the personal assistant and organizational guru on staff. If you call or email the office, chances are, you will speak to her. She handles home organization projects, as well as "personal services" such as errands, furniture assembly and light maintenance. She worked eight years in insurance and two in fine jewelry before founding Lettuce Services, so she is a reliable partner for high-trust projects that require both discretion and privacy. When she isn't working, she enjoys learning, cooking world cuisine, urban exploring, and learning to forage. Her passions are grassroots organizing, community development, working with foster youth, and celiac disease advocacy.

Jacob is the co-owner of Lettuce Services with his wife Heather. He oversees all of the construction, repair, and remodel projects at Lettuce. After working in the drywall industry during the pre-2008 construction boom in Florida and nearly a decade at a New Orleans repair and remodel firm, Jacob's specialties are drywall, plaster and painting; finish and trim carpentry; historical repairs and renovation; and small-scale custom building projects. When he isn't working, Jacob enjoys watching movies, playing video games, drinking coffee on the porch with his wife and dog, and whipping up excellent cocktail creations. His passions are spending time with his extensive extended family that live throughout the Central Florida area and supporting his uncle's racing team, CODB Racing. 

With experience in drywall, welding, auto body work, and fixing dang near anything at his house (including a boat and a camping trailer!), our brother Pete was a great addition to our team. Although we don't offer heavy-construction or mechanical services at this time, we sleep easier at night knowing we have a "grease monkey" on the squad. When we ask, "Is this a job we should take on? It's kind of a doozy," Pete is the first to say, "Why not? Isn't that what we're here for?" When he isn't working, Pete enjoys video gaming, working on his home projects, spending time with his wife, their three kids, and the cats, and working on the pit crew at CODB Racing. He passionately works with organizations and individuals that support children with special needs, those that work with the formerly incarcerated, and any individual who finds themselves in a tough spot. 

Nellie Dean is a 45-pound goblin, rescued by Jacob and Heather in 2021 after she was found living under a house with her six puppies. She is extremely affectionate with people and suspect of any other canines that enter her territory. Her favorite thing is when the final member of the household returns home at the end of the day, and she celebrates because the pack is all together again.
